Chicken Tenola

Ingredients

    1 tablespoon cooking oil.
    1 onion, chopped.
    2 crushed garlic cloves.
    1 small fresh ginger Peeled and cut thin slices.

    1 peeled squash, diced (Picture below)
    Salt, to taste.
    1 Chinese cabbage, chopped.
    200 grams spinach.

How to cook Filipino chicken tinola

    Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
    Put onions and garlic in boiling oil and stir until golden.
    Add ginger to the fried onion mixture and stir quickly for two minutes.
    Pour the chicken broth into the pan and stir for 5 minutes.
    Place the shredded chicken thighs in a saucepan.
    Place the squash pieces with the chicken and the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan and let it boil until it completely boils the chicken and changes its color from the pink.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    You can now add spinach and Chinese cabbage and let it boil for two minutes.
    You now have a pot in it of all boiled chicken, squash and vegetables.
    Serve hot.
